About me

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I got my first camera when I was 11, and ever since then I’ve spent countless hours outdoors chasing wildlife, landscapes, and moments that feel real.

I grew up exploring the mountains of Pennsylvania with my brother on our family’s property, which gave me a strong connection to nature from an early age. My passion for photography was also influenced by my family’s artistic background, especially my great-grandfather William Rickert and great uncle Paul Rickert, who were both artists in their own ways.

Today, photography continues to push me to explore new places, meet new people, and keep improving my craft. Whether I’m photographing wildlife, nature, or everyday moments, my goal is always to create images that feel genuine and meaningful.
